Match day preview - Chelsea (H)

Manchester United play host to Chelsea at 5.30pm on Saturday 20th September. United are under huge pressure to get a result in front of the home fans, after a 3-0 defeat in the Manchester derby. With only one win from five this season, Amorim will be desperate to get a result, following news of talks with Sir Jim Ratcliffe over the current form of the team and his future, where Amorim joked they spoke of a contract extension.

Chelsea come into this one unbeaten domestically, with two wins and two draws so far. They will be looking to bounce back after a 3-1 defeat to Bayern in Europe and will fancy their chances to do so against a fragile United team. Cole Palmer's return gives them extra attacking firepower and will look to cause United's back three major issues. The midfield match up is another area that Chelsea will look to exploit, as Caicedo & Enzo may be too much for United to handle physically.

Chelsea have not won at Old Trafford in the Premier League since 2013. The last 10 premier league games between the two have seen 6 draws and 2 wins a piece. United have faired well against Chelsea in the past few home match ups and will be an interesting encounter on Saturday,

United team news; Mason Mount and Cunha are available. Dalot and Martinez are still side-lined.

Chelsea team news; Garnachi is available, with the Chelsea manager confirming he is in contention to start. Guiu and Palmer are fit to play. Delap is still out.

United key notes; The Goalkeeping position will be up for debate again and a close eye will be kept on who Amorim chooses. Bayindir has had a tough start to the season while Lammens may not be ready. Shaw had a poor game against City and will be an area that may be rotated, with Heaven, Maguire and Mazaroui potential replacements. Ugarte was poor and so might make way for fan favourite Mainoo. With Cunha and Mount returning, the attacking options look a lot more promising and will more than likely start from the bench.
